Well, my Key stage 2 class love these games and are continually asking to play on them. I have been able to get both games to run on XP, but you do have to adjust the compatability options for the Maths Journey. Just right click on the shortcut, select properties, select compatability and select "run in 256 colours".Any game that can get children to devlop their thinking and reasoning skills while they are having fun is always welcome in my classroom - and most of them seem to have got a copy for Christmas so that they can play it home as well!

Very Good (except one small thing)  |

I bought this 2-CD set for my son without noticing that they each run on different Windows platforms - Mountain Rescue runs on all versions of Windows including XP, but Maths Journey only runs on Windows 95/98 - a problem if you only have XP.

As usual, I was slightly worried that the price for the 2 CDs (note, two CDs with 3 games) would be too good to be true but my worries were unfounded. Its likely to take my 7 year old years to finish this game so longevity is great! She might be slightly young and sometimes she will get impacient, especially when she has to go back to the start, but it does make them think (both logical and mathematical) which is the purpose. Overall, great value for money.
